Hello and welcome to The Grilling King

My name is Ryan Brown and this will be the home to all my grilling experiments.

Other than my wife of 19 years and my two children, there are few things on this Earth I love more than grilling and smoking good meat.

My background isn't in the culinary field - I do radio and TV. My day job is a dream job. I am one of the hosts of the JOX Roundtable (@JOXRoundTable) on WJOX 94.5 in Birmingham. I also do a TV show each Sunday night on ABC 33/40 in Birmingham.

Getting paid to simply talk sports feels like beating the system. It also gives me considerable free time to pursue my passions. Those include golf, college football, the Miami Dolphins and grilling and smoking meat.

I surveyed the landscape of videos dedicated to grilling and smoking and found many great videos that shared some helpful information. The one thing I thought was missing was this: a platform for you to share your favorite recipes. That is why The Grilling King was born.
